Bethany House of Nassau County New York is dedicated to improving the lives of homeless women and children on Long Island.  We provide safe, supportive emergency housing for women and their dependent children, and a comprehensive range of additional programs and resources.  Of those women who remain with us for more than two weeks, 92% have successfully found permanent housing.  Bethany provides our services through three well maintained and attractively kept houses.  Our locations are staffed by dedicated and caring professionals and para professionals, several of whom have come through Bethany House in the past.

Bethany House needs your support to continue our work.  We have three locations housing over two dozen families - up to 80 women and children.  We have recently renovated our main house and continue to make improvements at all our residences. Bethany House has many different programs to address the special requirements of our residents and continues to develop new approaches to the needs of dispossessed families.
